Back to Work

I am writing from work today. I finally have a chance to get on here. Not much is new. i have been tagged by Wandering Coyote to reveal my personal peculiar behaviours. I have to think about this one overnight. I don't have that long of a break. I will let you know tomorrow. Right now, I am going to attempt to make popcorn for 70 students. I will let you know how that works out as well. It's in one of those big machines like at a theatre. Pray for me.

Shopping Success

Yay - I got to a MAC counter and there was a Lancome bonus at the Bay. I got new pj's at La Senza and I got a friend a baby gift at Old Navy. My sister-in-law treated me to the Canucks game last night in a Penthouse Suite! Today we went to Granville Island and watched a play. It has been a great trip so far. There was a landslide outside of Chiliwack that covered the east bound traffic on Highway 1 (my way home). I will probably be heading home on Friday or Saturday, depending on the closures. By the way, I love the Shark Club!!!!!

In the Big City

The girls and I are in North Vancouver at Bud's sister's house. The "political protest" seems to be continuing for this week, so I thought I'd come here before snow hits. I did get to drive on the freeway during a heavy rainfall warning - that was fun. It was also in the dark. i was a little nervous, but we made it safely. Now that I'm here, I want to go to a Canucks game. Anyone out there have tickets????? Hard to come by these days. I'm so excited we are going shopping today at Park Royal. They have MAC and Old Navy. I'm in heaven. I will keep all up to date on my purchases.

My Beautiful Babies

I thought I would share the rest of the family with you all. This picture was taken last year around the end of September. Aren't they sweet? One looks like me (Michaely) and the little one looks like Bud (Brooklyn). Could they be any further apart? Ah - the love.

Searching for Oxymorons - Help Me

I love word games. I love oxymorons. Please post your favourite right here. Here are my top three: pretty ugly, jumbo shrimp, and good grief. Please - Oxymorons thrill me and I'm looking forward to the response! Yes, I am a freak, as Bud just told me.

Happy Friday to All

Good morning to all. Michaely now has a blog and is thrilled. You can check it out at michaelycat.blogspot.com.
Since Wandering Coyote put up a pic - I thought I could too. This is me at an anniversary party in September. I hardly have any pics to choose from so u get the one with the sunlasses.

I have also included a picture of my handsome husband, Bud. That is him at the same party. Nothing else is new since I blogged last. Go Canucks!

I'm Alive

I am back, alive, and kicking. I am actually off of work right now due to the BCTF strike (or shall I say the politically correct 'Political Protest'?). I will, however, begin blogging again. I was basically away all summer. Now that I'm back in a routine, I'll try and keep you all up to date. Wandering Coyote - it's been too long. I read your blog this morning - you are so committed to keeping us informed. I hope to see you in the Big R when you're here. You can come and meet the kids. To my Shannie Dog (gotta love that Kurtis), I left comments for you. I also wanted to let you know that the latest news headline in one of the local newspapers was "Post Office Vandalized by a Drive By Fruiting". Is that not the best thing ever? I love small towns. I am officially working full time this year and I got a job at my daughters' school. I love it. I work in a Behaviour Intervention Program for ages 9-13. We try to mainstream kids back into their regular classrooms so they don't end up in alternate programs in secondary school. It's very rewarding. One student (grade six) has already made the transition this year. Yahoo! I've got the travel bug and am hoping to go somewhere in the next month. I think I am addicted to Expedia.ca. It drives Bud crazy. Maybe that's why I do it. Passive-aggresive anyone? Oh ya - Wandering Coyote - I saw our long lost rival the blonde S.M. at the local pub the other night. She couldn't even look me in the eye. She's guilty and she knows it. She's nothing great, by the way, for what she thought she was. Oh well, bygones. I can't believe I still feel the need to talk about that - I thought you would be interested, I guess. So - I look forward to hearing from all who've read this. I'm BAAAAAAAACK!
